RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A PLAT OF EASEMENT GRANT HURON'S MCLEAN
BOULEVARD SUBDIVISION AND ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND
MAINTENANCE CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE HURON'S MCLEAN
BOULEVARD SUBDIVISION LOT 3
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that David J. Kaptain, Mayor, and Kimberly A. Dewis, City Clerk, be and are hereby authorized
and directed to execute a Plat of Easement Grant for public improvements for Huron's McLean
Boulevard Subdivision from Huron Investment and Development Company, LLC for Lot 3
regarding the property legally described on said plat, prepared by Cemcon, Ltd. dated March 24,
2016, last revised on September 19, 2019 a copy of which is attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
cause said Plat of Easement Grant for Huron's McLean Boulevard Subdivision Lot 3 to be
recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Kane County, Illinois.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance certain public
improvements within the Huron's McLean Boulevard Subdivision. Acceptance of the public
improvements will add the following city maintained facilities: 354 lineal feet of 8-inch water
main, one 8-inch valve in 4-foot vault, one sampling station, 2 fire hydrants, 384 lineal feet of 8-
inch sanitary sewer, 3 sanitary manholes and their appurtenances to the City maintained facilities.
