RESOLUTION
COMMITTING LOCAL FUNDS FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF DUNDEE AVENUE
UNDER THE REBUILD ILLINOIS GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS; the City Council of the City of Elgin, Illinois has taken action to submit a
Rebuild Illinois competitive public infrastructure application; and,
WHEREAS,receipt of Rebuild Illinois grant assistance is essential to allow the City of Elgin,
Illinois to undertake the project to reconstruct Dundee Avenue from Plum Court to Page Avenue;
and,
WHEREAS, criteria are such that financial participation by the grantee is required in
conjunction with Rebuild Illinois funds; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Elgin, Illinois has certain monies allocated for the above-referenced
project with cash on hand, as needed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that the City of Elgin, Illinois does hereby commit funds from the Central
Area TIF Fund for use in conjunction with a Rebuild Illinois Public Infrastructure Grant, such
funds to equal 27% of the estimated total project cost of$9,300,000.00, or $2,500.000.00.
