RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE CERTAIN PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE CEDAR GROVE EAST SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,that
the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance certain public improvements within
the Cedar Grove East Subdivision which will include streets, water main, sanitary sewer, storm
sewer, street lights, street signs and sidewalk improvements.Acceptance of the public improvements
will add the following maintained facilities: approximately 285 lineal feet of eight-inch water main;
one, eight-inch valve in 4-foot vault; 1,385 lineal feet of eight-inch sanitary sewer; ten sanitary
manholes;314 lineal feet of twelve-inch storm sewer;28 lineal feet of fifteen-inch storm sewer; 135
lineal feet of eighteen-inch storm sewer; four street lights, four street signs; 1,373 lineal feet of
improved street; 2,745 lineal feet of curb and gutter; 14,660 square feet of sidewalk; and, all their
collective appurtenances to the City maintained facilities.
