RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE CERTAIN PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE RANDALL POINT BUSINESS PARK SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance certain public improvements
within the Randall Point Business Park Subdivision. Acceptance of the public improvements will
add the following city maintained facilities: Approximately.351 lineal feet 4-inch water main; 74
lineal feet 8-inch water main; 545 lineal feet of 10-inch water main; 4,402 lineal feet of 12-inch
water main; six 4-inch valves; one 8-inch valve in 4-foot vault;ten 10-inch valves in 4-foot vaults;
seven 12-inch valves in 5-foot vaults; 14 fire hydrants with auxiliary valves; 2,912 lineal feet of
8-inch sanitary sewer; 16 sanitary manholes; 23 storm manholes; 3 Tee manholes; 21 catch basins;
636 lineal feet of 12" RCP pipe; 48 lineal feet of 15" RCP pipe; 181 lineal feet of 18" RCP pipe;
67 lineal feet of 24" RCP pipe; 64 lineal feet of 27" RCP pipe; 573 lineal feet of 36" RCP pipe;
259 lineal feet of 42" RCP pipe; 549 lineal feet of 48" RCP pipe; 52 lineal feet of 54" RCP pipe;
698 lineal feet of 60" RCP pipe; 109 lineal feet of 76" x 48" elliptical RCP pipe; 17 street lights;
11 street signs;4,150 lineal feet of improved street(including curb and gutter and sidewalk on one
side of the street); and their appurtenances to the City maintained facilities.
