• RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF A PLAT OF DEDICATION AND
EASEMENT GRANT FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY, SANITARY SEWER AND
STORMWATER MANAGEMENT AND CITY EASEMENT PURPOSES
FROM GIFFORD 300, LLC AND CR 1255 GIFFORD, LLC
(Gifford 300 Industrial Development Phase 1)

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,ILLINOIS,that it
hereby accepts a certain plat of dedication and easement grant prepared by Mackie Consultants,LLC,
an Illinois Land Surveyor,and dated August 5,2016, last revised February 23,2017,for the property
legally described and depicted on such plat of dedication and easement grant attached hereto as
Exhibit A.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that David J. Kaptain,Mayor and Kimberly A. Dewis, City
Clerk, be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute a plat of dedication and easement grant
for right-of-way, sanitary sewer and stormwater management and city easement purposes from
Gifford 300, LLC and CR 1255 Gifford, LLC, for the property legally described and depicted on
such Exhibit A, a copy of which is attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed
to cause said plat of dedication and easement grant to be filed with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook
County, Illinois.
