RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
IN EDGEWATER UNIT 1 SUBDIVISION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance the public improvements in the
Edgewater Unit 1 Subdivision which include the watermains and and sanitary sewer mains and will
add approximately 12,950 lineal feet of eight-inch water main, 4,350 lineal feet of twelve-inch water
main, 31 eight-inch valves in four-foot vaults, 11 twelve-inch valves in five-foot vaults, 56 fire
hydrants, 9,825 lineal feet of eight-inch sanitary sewer main, 3,100 lineal feet of ten-inch sanitary sewer main, 2,970 lineal feet of twelve-inch sanitary sewer main, 117 sanitary manholes and their appurtenances to the city maintained facilities.
