HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-265 Resolution No. 08-265 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTTS IN VARIOUS SINGLE LOT DEVELOPMENTS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PLATS OF EASEMENT (Capital Corporate Center, 3091 Route 20 and 3651 Centennial Way) ' BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that the City of Elgin hereby accepts for ownership and maintenance the following public utility easements and improvements: V Capital Corporate Center-1750 Capital Street- public water main in proposed water main easement (property located on the southwest side of Interstate 90 and Randall Road). 3091 Route 20 - public water main and bike-path, and a public sanitary sewer along the southern property line in a proposed easement (property located on the southeast side of Nesler Road and US Route 20). 3651 Centennial Way - public water main and a public utility easement (property located within Golf Course Country Club subdivision on the southwest side of Randall Road and Bowes Road). Acceptance of these improvements will add approximately 475 lineal feet of bike-path, 460 lineal feet of 8"sanitary sewer,three sanitary manholes,38 lineal feet of 6"watermain, 1,757 lineal feet of 8" water main, 439 lineal feet of 24" water main, six hydrants, and four valve vaults to the City maintained facilities. Four easements are being accepted to provide access for maintenance of these utilities.
