RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A REAL ESTATE SALES CONTRACT
(401 and 431-35 N. State Street)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,that
Ed Schock, Mayor, and Diane Robertson, City Clerk, be and are hereby authorized and directed to
execute a Real Estate Sales Contract on behalf of the City of Elgin with Sleeping Bear Properties,
LLC,an Illinois limited liability company, Small's Furniture City, Inc., an Illinois corporation,and
Kirk Small,for the purchase of property commonly known as 401 and 431-35 N. State Street,Elgin,
for$796,500, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
