AMENDMENT TO EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
THIS AMENDMENT AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 26th day
of July, 2006, by and between the CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, a
municipal corporation, (hereinafter referred to as the "City" ) , and
OLUFEMI FOLARIN, (hereinafter referred to as either "Mr. Folarin"
or "Employee" ) .
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the City and Mr. Folarin entered into an Employment
Contract dated January 26, 2005, providing for Mr. Folarin' s
employment with the City of Elgin as the City' s City Manager
(hereinafter referred to as the "Subject Employment Contract" ) ; and
WHEREAS, the City and Mr. Folarin desire to amend the Subject
Employment Contract by amending the annual base salary provided for
in Section 4 of the Subject Employment Contract .
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and
undertakings as set forth herein, and the mutual covenants and
undertakings set forth in the Subject Employment Contract, and for
other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficient
of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows :
1 . That Section 4 of the Subject Employment Contract is
hereby amended by amending the stated amount of the annual base
salary of $147, 112 to $160, 000 .
2 . That the amended annual base salary of Mr. Folarin as
provided in the preceding Section 1 hereof shall be effective as of
December 25, 2005 .
3 . That except as expressly amended herein the Subject
Employment Contract between the City and Mr. Folarin shall remain
in full force and effect .
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have entered into and
executed this Amendment Agreement as of the date and year first
written above .
