RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A REAL ESTATE SALES CONTRACT
(58 Kimball Street and 271 N. Grove Avenue)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,ILLINOIS,that
Ed Schock,Mayor, and Dolonna Mecum, City Clerk,be and are hereby authorized and directed to
execute a Real Estate Sales Contract on behalf of the City of Elgin with James R. Krenz and
Patricia K. Krenz, for the purchase of property commonly known as 58 Kimball Street and 271 N.
Grove Avenue, Elgin, for$585,000, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by
reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon the closing of the subject real estate sale that the
Mayor and City Clerk be and are herby authorized and directed to sign the commercial lease
agreement attached to the real estate sale contract as Exhibit B.
