RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING A PLAT OF DEDICATION FOR A PUBLIC STREET
(Kimball Street)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that it hereby accepts a certain plat of dedication for a
public street prepared by James E. Hengtgen, an Illinois Land
Surveyor, and dated May 14, 2003, for the property legally
described as follows :
That part of Lot 51 and part of Lots 63 through 70,
both inclusive, in Phineas J. Kimballs Addition 2nd
Addition, Elgin, Illinois, being a subdivision of part of
Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 8 East of the Third
Principal Meridian excepting therefrom that part of the
above described lots lying South of a line described as
follows : Commencing at the Northwest Corner of aforesaid
Lot 63 ; thence South 00 degrees 00 minutes 14 seconds
East, along the West line of said Lot 63 , a distance of
62 . 56 feet for the point of beginning of said line;
thence South 89 degrees 52 minutes 12 seconds East on a
line that intersects with the East line of aforesaid
Lot 51 at a point 61 . 93 feet South as measured along said
East line, of the Northeast Corner of said Lot 51, a
distance of 728 .02 feet for the terminus of said line in
the City of Elgin, Kane County, Illinois and containing
1 . 04 acres more or less .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and is hereby
authorized and directed to cause said plat of dedication to be
filed with the Recorder of Deeds of Kane County, Illinois .
