RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE PORTION
OF THE ABANDONED UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY RIGHT OF WAY
LOCATED BETWEEN LAKE STREET AND PRAIRIE STREET
IN ELGIN, ILLINOIS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Ed Schock, Mayor, be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute an agreement on behalf of the City of Elgin
with the Union Pacific Railroad Company for the purchase of the
portion of the abandoned Union Pacific Railroad Company right of
way located between Lake Street and Prairie Street in Elgin,
Illinois, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof by reference .
