RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED
AND EASEMENT AGREEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES FROM THE
FOX RIVER WATER RECLAMATION DISTRICT
(801 N. McLean Boulevard)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Ed Schock, Mayor, and Dolonna Mecum, City Clerk, be
and are hereby authorized and directed to execute and accept a Quit
Claim Deed and Easement Agreement for sanitary sewer purposes from
the Fox River Water Reclamation District for the property legally
described on Exhibit A, a copy of which is attached hereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to cause the Quit Claim Deed and Easement
Agreement to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of
Kane County, Illinois .

DISTRICT, formerly known as the
Sanitary District of Elgin, Illinois,
a municipal corporation of Kane and Cook Counties, State of Illinois, having its principal offices
in the City of Elgin, County of Kane, State of Illinois, pursuant to the authority conferred by its
Board of Trustees, for and in consideration of the sum of Ten and No/100 ($10.00) Dollars and
other valuable consideration in hand paid, CONVEYS and QUIT-CLAIMS to the CITY OF
ELGIN, an Illinois municipal corporation of Kane and Cook Counties, State of Illinois,
GRANTEE, all right, title and interest in and to the following described parcel of real property:

situated in the City of Elgin, County of Kane, in the State of Illinois.
FURTHER including, without limitation, all right, title, and interest in and to that certain
Easement dated May 8, 1971, and recorded June 10, 1971 as Document No. 1193488, the
Friedland Easement, made by John C. Friedland and Evelyn N. Friedland, as Grantor and given

including the sanitary sewer and related improvements located therein and appurtenant thereto.
It being specifically understood that the Grantee intends to vacate the Friedland Easement and
remove the sanitary sewer and appurtenant improvements located therein, to facilitate
development of the real estate and other purposes.

A STRIP OF LAND 10 FEET WIDE IN LOT 1 OF FRIEDLAND'S SUBDIVISION,
AND PART OF THE WEST HALF OF SECTION 10, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH,
RANGE 8 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, THE CENTER LINE OF
WHICH IS DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE EAST
