RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A REAL ESTATE SALE CONTRACT
FOR THE PURCHASE OF 1900 HOLMES ROAD
(U. S . Precision Glass Company)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Ed Schock, Mayor, and Dolonna Mecum, City Clerk, be
and are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Real Estate
Sale Contract on behalf of the City of Elgin with U. S . Precision
Glass Company, for the purchase of property commonly known as
1900 Holmes Road, Elgin, for $5, 600, 000 . 00, a copy of which is
attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that Ed Schock, Mayor, and Dolonna Mecum, City
Clerk, be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute a lease
on behalf of the City of Elgin with U. S . Precision Glass Company,
for the lease of the property commonly known as 1900 Holmes Road,
Elgin, Illinois to U. S . Precision Glass Company, a copy of which is
also attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
