RESOLUTION
APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR TOLLGATE INDUSTRIAL PARK
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that it hereby approves the preliminary plat prepared by
Cowhey Gudmundson Leder, Ltd. dated November 9, 2000 for the
Tollgate Industrial Park. The approval granted by this resolution
is tentative in nature, involving the general acceptability of the
layout as submitted, and shall not qualify the plat for recording.
Application for final approval shall be made not later than one
year after the date of this resolution and must be supported by
such drawings, specifications and monetary assurance as may be
necessary to demonstrate compliance with applicable statutes and
ordinances. Additionally, approval of the preliminary plat is
subject to the following conditions :
1 . The applicant shall enter into an agreement in a form
acceptable to the city with an appropriate agency for the
protection, preservation and maintenance of the
conservation area including Lot A and the west ninety
(90) feet of Lot 4 prior to final plat approval .
2 . The applicant will provide a monetary assurance in the
amount of one year' s estimated maintenance cost, as
approved by the City Engineer, for the storm water
detention area.
