RESOLUTION
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO VARIOUS BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS,
that Margaret (Peggie) Stromberg be and is hereby appointed as a member
of the Elgin Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, for a term to expire
December 31, 2002 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Donald Wolfe be and is hereby
reappointed as a member of the Economic Development Council, for a term
to expire December 31, 2002 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Ernest Gonzalez be and is hereby
appointed as a member of the Image Advisory Commission to fulfill the
unexpired term of Molly Block, for a term to expire May 1, 2002 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Laura Becerra be and is hereby
appointed as a member of the Human Relations Commission to fulfill the
unexpired term of David Dominguez, for a term to expire May 1, 2002 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Ina Dews be and is hereby appointed as
a member of the Human Relations Commission to fulfill the unexpired term
of John Holzer, for a term to expire May 1, 2002 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that George Stefely be and is hereby
appointed as chairman of the Cultural Arts Commission with a term of
chairmanship to expire November 1, 2001 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following persons be and are hereby
appointed as members of the Funding Application Review Committee for a
term to expire May 1, 2002 :
Juan Figueroa, Member of the City Council
Stuart Wasilowski, Member of the City Council
Karen Fox, Citizen Representative
Larry Narum, Citizen Representative
Deborah K. Nier, Staff Representative of City Manager' s Office
