AN ORDINANCE
VACATING PORTIONS OF GALE STREET AND OF RENNER DRIVE, PUBLIC cr
STREETS IN THE CITY OF ELGIN, KANE COUNTY, ILLINOIS .
WHEREAS , certain portions of public streets known and
described as Gale Street and Renner Drive in the City of
Elgin, Kane County, Illinois , are no longer needed for pub- N
lic street purposes , and m (D
WHEREAS, the public interest will be sub-served by the C.TD
vacation of the hereinafter described portions of Gale Street
and Renner Drive , both public streets in the City of Elgin.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS :
Section 1. That the following described portions of
Gale Street and Renner Drive located in the City of Elgin,
Kane County, Illinois , to-wit:
That part of Gale Street lying Southerly of the
Northerly Line extended Easterly of Lot 23 in Burnidge
Bros . Industrial Park College View to the Westerly
line of Lot 21 in Burnidge Bros . Industrial Park
College View.
ALSO that part of Renner Drive lying Southerly of the
Northerly line extended Easterly of Lot 13 in Burnidge
Bros . Industrial Park Unit No . 4 to the Westerly
line of Lot 11 in Burnidge Bros . Industrial Park Unit
No. 4.
All the above being part of Section 21, Township 41
North, Range 8 East of the Third Principal Meridian
in the City of Elgin, Kane County, Illinois ,
be and the same hereby are vacated for street purposes .
Section 2 . That the City of Elgin does hereby reserve
to itself and to any and all public utility companies owning
any public service facilities in any part of said streets
vacated by this Ordinance full right of ingress and egress
in and from said streets for the purpose of continuing or
extending public service facilities and for the further
purpose of maintenance , renewal, extension or construction
or reconstruction of any such public service facilities .
Section 3. That a certified copy of this Ordinance,

together with a Plat of portion of said public streets vacated '
be filed with the Recorder of Deeds of Kane County, Illinois ,
Section 40 That this Ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage as provided by law and shall be pub-
lished in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council,
