An Ordinance Vacating Certain Streets and Alleys in
Elgin Heights Addition to Elgin, Cook County, Illinois .
WH;:RLA8, the nature and extent of the public use or public
interest to be subaerved in vacating certain parts of certain
streets end alleys in Elgin Heights Addition to Elgin, herein-
after described , is such as to warrant the vacation thereof; end
V1 A ., each parts of such' streets and alleys are not
necessary for the public use or required in the public interest,

Section 1. That the following described perts of streets
and alleys be, and the seme are, hereby vacated, to-wits
Parts of Houston Avenue and Getty Street es laid out
in Flgin Heights Addition to Elgin, Cook County, Illinois,
and ports of the Public Alleys in 3lookss Five (5) and Six
(6) in said Addition, all as hereinafter deeoribedt
All that pert of !{ouston Avenue lying Northerly of
the Northerly line extended of Armour Avenue and westerly
of the Wesstbrly line extended of Kirk Avenue and oleo all
that part of Getty Street lying Northerly of the Northerly
line of Houston Avenue extended and Westerly of a line
described by beginning et the r;orthesest corner of Lot
Twenty-six (26) in Block Six (6) of said Elgin Heights
A Mition end running Northwesterly to a point in the forth
line of Getty Street at its intersection with the West line
extended of Lot Twenty-five (25) in said Block Six (6) of
said Elgin Heights Addition to :igin; also
That part of the public alleys in Blocks Five (5) And
?ix (6) in said Elgin sleights Addition to Elgin lying west
of tne west line of Kirk Avenue,
all of said vacated streets and alleys being shown by plat thereof
hereto etteched and made pert hereof.
Section 2. That this Ordinance be in effect from and after
its passage as provided by law.
