AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. G77-18 ESTABLISHING FEES FOR VARIOUS CITY
SERVICES, PERMITS, LICENSES, USE OF FACILITIES AND OTHER MATTERS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the User Fees Exhibit attached to Ordinance No. G77-18,adopted by the
City Council on December 19, 2018, is hereby amended by amending the following fees under the
heading "Bluff City Cemetery" regarding columbarium niche spaces as follows:
"Type 2019 Fee
Grave Prices
Columbarium Niche Spaces:
Each (or 1) niche consists of two possible spaces
Niches 1 and 7 $1540
Niches 2 and 8 $1650
Niches 3 and 9 $1650
Niches 4 and 10 $1650
Niches 5 and 11 $1540
Niches 6 and 12 $1540
Pre-need weekday inurnment before 2:30 p.m. $ 484"
Section 2. That the User Fees Exhibit attached to Ordinance No. G77-18,adopted by the
City Council on December 19, 2018, is hereby further amended by removing under the heading
"Bluff City Cemetery" the entire subsection entitled "Memorial Day and Cemetery Walk Pricing
(10% discount)".
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance be and are hereby repealed to the extent of any such conflict.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force upon its passage and publication in
the manner provided by law.
