AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS ,
ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE" , TO PROVIDE FOR ADDITIONAL
30 MINUTE METERED PARKING" ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Article XII of Chapter 17 of the City
Code of Elgin be , and the same hereby is , amended in the
following manner , to-wit:
( a) By adding to the streets included in the 30 minute
metered- parking• area under Section 17- 1210, the following ,
to-wit :
First metered space on West side of Spring Street,
North of DuPage Street .
(b ) By deleting from• the- streets. and areas designated as
2 hour metered. pa:rki n,gi•areas= under. Secti on 17- 1212 , the
following , to-wit:
First metered• sp•a-ce- ors= West- side- o•f• Spring Street,
North of DuPage Street .
Section 2 , That all ordinances or parts thereof in con-
flict herewith be , and the same hereby. are , • repealed and of
no further force and etfect
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage as provided bylaw and shall be published
in pamphlet form• by authority of the' City Council
