AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS,
ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE" AS PERTAINS TO THE
TWO HOUR METER PARKING AREA.
BE IT ORDAINE? BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELGIN , ILLINOIS:
Section 1 . That. Article XII of Chapter 17 of the City
Code of Elgin be , and the same hereby is , amended in the
following manner, to-wit:
By deleting from the streets and areas designated
as two hour meter parking areas under Section 17-
1212 : The first parking stall ( 22 feet) on the
South side of Chicago Street , immediately East
of the Union National Bank and Trust Company of
Elgin ' s commercial drive-way .
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in
conflict herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed
and of no further force and effect .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage as provided by law and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council ,
