AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS ,
ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE" , TO PROVIDE FOR
ADDITIONAL 30 MINUTE METERED PARKING .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 : That Article XII of Chapter 17 of the City
Code of Elgin be , and the same hereby is , amended in the
following manner , to-wit :
( a ) By adding to the streets included in the 30 minute
metered parking area under Section 17- 1210 , the following ,
to-wit :
Villa Street , on the West side thereof, from its intersec-
tion with E . Chicago Street to a point 35 feet Southerly
thereof.
( b ) By deleting from the streets and areas designated as
2 hour metered parking areas under Section 17- 1212 , the
following , to-wit:
Villa Street , on the West side thereof , from its intersec-
tion with E . Chicago Street to a point 35 feet Southerly
thereof.
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in con-
flict herewith be , and the same hereby are , reoealed and of
no further force and effect .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage as provided by law and shall be published
in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council .
