HomeMy WebLinkAboutS5-21 Ordinance No. S5-21 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ELGIN (2100 N. Randall Road) WHEREAS, a petition signed by all the owners of record of certain territory has been filed with the City Clerk requesting annexation of said territory to the City of Elgin, Illinois; and WHEREAS, said petition includes therein a statement under oath by all the owners of record that no electors reside on the subject territory; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Elgin and is not within the corporate limits of any municipality; and WHEREAS, legal notices of the intent of the City of Elgin to annex said territory have been forwarded to all public bodies required to receive said notice in the manner provided by law. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS: Section 1.
