AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIiv , ILLINOIS,
ENTITLED , TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE AS IT PERTAINS TO
STREETS ON WHICH PARKING IS PROHIBITED .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Article X of Chapter 17 of the City Code
of Elgin , be , and the same hereby is , amended by deleting from
the streets designated under Section 17- 1003 , on which parking
is pronibiteu , the following :
East Highland Avenue , on the North side thereof ,
between Center Street and Spring Street , from
3 : 00 P . N . to 6 : 00 P . M . Tuesday through Friday ,
uoth uays inclusive , 3 : U0 P . N . to 9 : 00 P . M . on
Monday , and o : UO A . M . to 6 : 00 P . M . on Saturday .
Douglas Avenue , on the East side thereof , between
East Highland Avenue and East Chicago Street , from
3 : 00 P . M . to 6 : 00 P .M . Tuesday through Friday , both
uays inclusive , 3: U0 P . M . to 9 : 00 P . M . on Monday ,
and o : UO A . M . to 6 : 00 P . M . on Saturday .
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in
conflict herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed and
of no further force and effect .
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and after its passage as provided by law , and shall be
published in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council .
