AN ORDINANCE
TO AMEND CHAPTER 17 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS ,
ENTITLED, TRAFFIC CONTROL ORDINANCE , AS IT PERTAINS TO
STREETS ON WHICH PARKING IS PROHIBITED,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN ,
ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . That Article X of Chapter 17 of the City Code
of Elgin , be , and the same hereby is , amended by adding to the
streets designated under Section 17-1003 , on which parking is
prohibited , the following :
Summit Street on the North side thereof between
Dundee Avenue and St . John Street .,
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts thereof in conflict
herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed and of no further
force and effect ..
Section 3 . That this ordinance shall be effective from
and, after its passage as provided by law , and shall be
published in pamphlet form by authority of the City Council .
