AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE CITY CODE OF ELGIN , ILLINOIS ,
ENTITLED THE "ELGIN ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS , a public hearing has been duly held pursuant to
statutes of the State of Illinois and the provisions of the
Elgin Zoning Ordinance , and
WHEREAS , the Elgin Zoning Board of Appeals has transmitted
its recommendations to the City Council , all of which have
been duly considered ,
NOW , THEREFQRE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ELGIN., ILLINOIS :
Section 1 . '-That Sub-sect on B of Section 21- 106 of
Chapter 21 of the City Code of Elgin , Illinois , as amended ,
be , and the same hereby is , amended by adding thereto , the
following paragraph :
That the boundaries hereinbefore described and laid
out in the "Zoning District Map" , as amended , be ,
and they hereby are , altered and amended in the
following manner , t:o-wit :
By including in M- 1 , Limited Manufacturing District ,
the following described premises , to-wit :
That part of Section 6 , Township 41 North , Range 9
East of the Third Principal Meridian , described as
follows : Beginning at a point on the North line of
said Section 6 which point is 855 . 0 feet West of
• the Northeast corner of said Section 6 ; thence south
3 degrees 38 minutes West 3788 ,99 feet to the North
line of Shoe Factory Road ; thence North 86 degrees
34 mi viutes 41 seconds West along said North line , a
distance of 1797 , 80 feet to the East line of the Third
Addition to Blackhawk Manor ; thence North 0 degrees
20 minutes West 1345 , 73 feet ; thence North 84 degrees
16 minutes West 186 .0 feet ; thence North 9 degrees
47 minutes East 2343 , 0 feet to the North line of said
Section 6 as aforesaid ; thence East on said North line
1829 .0 feet to the place of beginning , EXCEPTING that
part lying within the right of way of the Northwest
Toll Highway and also EXCEPT that part conveyed to
the Northern Illinois Gas Company .

place of beginning ; thence continuing South 2 degrees

at the Northeast corner of said Section 6 ; thence
Southerly along the East line of said Section 6
a distance of 46 ,3 feet; thence westerly along a
line forming an angle of 91 06 ' to •the right with
the last described course extended a distance of
2688 , 2 feet ; thence southerly along a line forming
an angle of 79° 11 ' to the left with the last described
course extended , a distance of 254. 5 feet to a point
in the southerly right-of-way line of the Northern
Illinois Toll Highway , said point be ' ng the point of
beginning of the parcel of land hereby conveyed ; thence
• Easterly along said southerly right-of-way line of the
Northern Illinois Toll Highway a distance of 1863 < 4 feet ;

Section 2 , That all ordinances or parts thereof in
conflict herewith be , and the same hereby are , repealed and
of no further force and effect .,

and shall be published in pamphlet form by authority of the
