Adjournment Property Maintenance Board of Appeals City of Elgin November 7, 2017 Minutes The meeting of the Property Maintenance Board of Appeals was called to order at 5:05 p.m. in the North Tower, 1St floor, Community Development Conference Room by Chairperson Lichthardt. MEMBERS PRESENT: Bruce Corn, Jay Cox, Gary Lichthardt and Steve Silva MEMBERS ABSENT: Andrew Cuming and Patrick Hines CITY STAFF PRESENT: Cindy Walden (Secretary) OTHERS PRESENT: None MINUTES: Motion to approve the minutes from the Regular meeting on November 1, 2016, was made by Steve Silva; seconded by Jay Cox. Motion was approved. OLD BUSINESS: None. NEW BUSINESS: 2018 Meeting Schedule: Motion to approve the 2018 meeting schedule was made by Bruce Corn; seconded by Steve Silva. Motion was approved unanimously. Property Maintenance Board of Appeals—November 7, 2017 Page 2 of 2 Election of new officers for 2017-18. Motion to retain the current officers (Gary Lichthardt, Chairman and Andrew Cuming, Vice Chairman) was made by Bruce Corn; seconded by Steve Silva. Motion was approved unanimously. DISCUSSION: Staff thanked the commission members for their willingness to remain on the board. Terms for current board members expire in 2020, 2021 & 2022. There is one vacancy on this board. General discussion regarding various new building projects within the city. ADJOURNMENT: Motion to adjourn was made by Steve Silva. The motion was seconded by Jay Cox. The motion passed unanimously.
