holding a special meeting on Monday September 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the Elgin Law Enforcement Facility at 151

MEETING NOTICE

The ELGIN POLICE PENSION FUND, Board of Trustees will be
holding a regular quarterly meeting on Thursday October 23, 2008 at
2:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Elgin Law Enforcement
Facility at 151 Douglas Ave. Elgin, Illinois in the North Lobby
Community Room.

Transfer of Creditable Service from IMRF to Article 3 Fund: (1)
1. Rick A. Demierre —IMRF has sent a check for $21,909.58 covering
their share and payment from Demierre to IMRF. He is looking to
have the City take out $300.00 biweekly from his pay check to pay the
Elgin Police Pension Fund the amount he owes, which is $20,760.83
(plus interest) for a total $41,007.53(plus interest).
Miscellaneous:
a. Notice from the IRS that they granted the Fund's request to remove
the penalties they access the Fund for the early 2008 late filings.
b. Letter from Andrew Knox's lawyer responding to Cary Collins letter
reference his late filings in 2006
e. Letters to and from Henry smith and his request for retroactivity of his
pension.
d. Brad Entler's QILDRO order.
e. Subpoena for the records of Frankie Garcia.
L Correspondence from Ofc. Allan Holder and his wife Velinda Holder.
g. Correspondence from the Village of Addison Illinois.
h. Yearly 3% increases for applicable pensioners.
