Det. Wolf reinterated what had been discussed at the previous meeting regarding Mr. Johnson's
honesty in providing information.
Cmmr. Krueger expressed her concern regarding Mr. Johnson's honesty in providing information
during the background check.
After much discussion , Chair Stolt called for an open vote on the removal of Audrai Johnson's
name from the CSO eligibility list. The vote to remove Audrai's Johnson's name from the CSO
eligibility went as follows:
Chair Stolt - Yes
Cmmr. Daniel -No
Cmmr. Krueger - Yes
Cmmr. Zamudio -No
Due to the lack of an action, the issue will be placed on the agenda for the July 10' meeting.
Femi informed the Commission and the representatives from the Police Department that since •
there are three (3) positions available, only two (2) positions will be filled at this time. The third
position will go unfilled until a decision is made regarding Audrai Johnson.
Cmmr. Krueger made the motion, seconded by Cmmr. Zamudio to place the removal of Orin
Keoman from the CSO eligibility list on the table for discussion. Motion carred.
Deputy Chief Duffy indicated that most of the background information obtained came from Orin
Keoman. However, due to past employment problems, and background information received, the
Police Department is recommending the removal of Orin Keoman's name from the eligibility list.
Chair Stolt requested that if possible, background information on all candidates be supplied before
the individual comes before the Commission for their oral interview.
Deputy Chief Duffy indicated that due to the nature of the job and the sensitivity of the position,
he would recommend that the Commission consider all the information presented in their request
to have Mr. Keoman's name removed from the eligibility list.
Cmmr. Daniel inquired if candidates were informed that his/her job would be contingent on their
passing a background check and drug testing.
