Randy Reopelle reported that the Elgin Public House owner, Greg Shannon, was
awarded the restaurant operation at The Highlands of Elgin Golf Course. The
layout is being changed with the bar on the opposite side and the patio is being
turned into a three - season room for dining. A soft opening is expected in April
with the grand opening later. We will keep you posted.
- The Fitness Center at The Centre of Elgin is expecting equipment to be ready
around April 15, but the flooring and other work will not be done. We are
estimating equipment to be set -up around mid -May, but that may get pushed
back to a later date if flooring gets replaced.
