Minutes as written. All in favor. Motion carried.
111. IMAGE AWARDS CEREMONY Subcommittee referral
Invitations - Becky reported approximately 400 invitations going out tomorrow
Flowers/Decorations - Lit presented all with a copy of Cuisine America's quote
detailing mwm and setup oasts. Commissioners will be seated at two front round
tables. Floral arrangements will be delivered.
Grocers - It was agreed that all would take turns as "gmetors' at the door.
PowerPoint - Becky reported that all images that had been submitted will be
displayed in the (cont on the mom via a PowerPoint presentation during the
cocktail hour. Airy still missing should be sent in jpg format ate

Entertainment - Lewis conlimnM that Rise Jones "ill perform at 7pm.
Pre-Awards - Chris asked that Commissioner's tryand arrive by 5pm

Mr. Dorgans' presunee at the inceting was primarily to discuss Image Issues and how the
Controssion van become more involved in Ne communaly. Mr. Dorgan stated hid like to
see greater interaction between the Enhancing Than Committee and the Image Advisory
Commission. Various image issues were discussed including: newspaper boxes in floor or
Post Office and the Metro station contribute to a decrease in Image: Judson College
students doing u thesis including comparing community new on how many articles
in each am "Rood"and how many "Fad"relative to our haage; offsite signage gollboards).
Discussion as to who "iesm ' the billboards widdn the City. Mr. Dorgall said there is
