Update on U46 Redistricting Plan
Cancer. Rivera provided an update to the Commission on events that have transpired
regarding this issue. The boundaries ware approved by the School Board that were
presented by school staff.
Illinois Park School will be closing and there Is talk of turning the building into the
professional growth center for the districts use.
Most of the bi-lingual students will be able to atlemd school in their home area, however,
some will still require transportation to of her area schools.

Staffs Monthly Report was provided for the months of February and March.
Monthly Contract Compliance Report provided for the month of March.

The Landlod(Tenant was completed on March 186 and went very well.
New Business
A letter was received from Michelle Coll thanking the Commission for being
selected as a scholarship recipient.
Lao New Year is being held on Saturday, April 10" from 6 — 10 p.mat the Hemmers
Auditorium.
Cmmr. Khol'nene suggested that the Commission set up a to ble at this event and
provide some literature for the public to receive, thus providing exposure for the Human
Relations Commission.
A suggestion was made for the Commission to provide their own logo. Chair Scott
asked that Commissioners firing their ideas for a Human Relations logo to the next
meeting.
Cmmr. Bicanic-Moeller suggested the a topic and speaker be selected for the next
forum in June. The title selected was 'Living In a Changing Word'.
