Acting Chair Dews voiced her concerns regarding the rental property for Sanborn 8
individuals. Acting Chart Dews indicated that she telt that an ordmi needs to be
made giving Elgin resident prior ty rentals. She also indicated that a restriction should
be dipulmed in the ordinance Indicating that a percentage of Elgin residenLc have
priority rental over out of town residents_
Moulin discussion ensued regarding this hectic.
Count. Bioenic-Moeller spoke regarding Perrot Act regarding civil rights violations and
that a copy will be provided at the next meeting.
Acting Commissioner Dews discussed an issue regarding an individual In Elgin that Is
junking fur the city to provide a bullding for the homeless. Crank. Dews indicated that
there was a comnAtme that had been established to discuss the homeless issue and
Indicated that she hopes the city 1l reesraboh this Committee.
