Ed Troll advised that he recuuly anended a meeting conducted by STICfAnicriech. Ameritech
stated it was in the Process of petitioning the Illinois Commerce Commission for a surdtarge
payable by both nlrelas vendors and PSAPv for Processing uf.rireless 911 calls. A PSAP
would be charged some amount of money kr every whCless 911 cell received_ Amentech was
twilling to disclose the amount of the surcharge they were asking nor, The Petition will bellied
spot around the middle of June and it is only then that the amount of the surcharge bring,
sought will be divulged- Ed Tied also advised there will be public bewings itnalved with this
