Stanley Sphan made a motion to accept the ro nines meeting of March 19, 1998, seconded by Bill
Diamond. Motion carried.

The following bills were presented for payment:
An invoice was received from Ameritech for 5267, which includes the $1 67 carried over from last
month. A ntotinn was made by Hill Diamond and seconded by Mandey Sphau to again postpone
payment ofthis invoice and let Ameritech mbill..Motion carried.

Chaimtan Bums reported this project is moving right along. Phase II should go live in July of`98.
'There are questions involving MDT and AVL mapping right now. What is available is not as
integrated as we had hoped bor. We nay have te go to a different vendor for napping. Another
problem area is records management for the fire department, but this is clearly a city responsibility
and not the u sponsibilit. of the 911 Boardtheir records system has been in operation since 1978.
As a side nor,, Chairman Rums advised tint he was beam tanstemed to the position of Deputy Chief
for Patrol in May. Hat all pusslble_ he would like to continue his active role with the 911 Board.

An incitation has been extended to Mrs. Juyce Parker, the City Manages, to attend our May 911
Board Meeting. "I'hls will be an opportunity to begin a full forty campaign to gain support for the
FMD program.
