with the subdivision' s wetland mitigation efforts and results .

of the developer, Kimball Hill, responded by stating that
revegation is a multi-year process . Kimball Hill is sending a
newsletter to Cobbler' s Crossing residents and has scheduled a
general informational meeting with the residents for June 1 in
an attempt to educate the residents of what a wetland really is
and what the end result is supposed to be. Although the
planting was started approximately one year later than what
Kimball Hill had planned, Mr. Johannesen does not believe there
is a problem with the wetland project itself.
Mayor VanDeVoorde suggested that a meeting be scheduled prior to
the June 1 informational meeting between representatives of
Kimball Hill, the City's Planning and Engineering Departments,
and Cobbler' s Crossing residents in an effort to work out a
satisfactory solution.
