Roll Call answered by: Carol Gieske, Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce, Suzanne Powers, Hanover Township, Sara Johnson, Gail Borden Library, Jeffrey King, School District U-46 and Marc Mylott, City of Elgin. Mr. Mylott provided an overview of the Bluff City Tax Increment Financing District (TIF). He outlined the terms, the boundaries, the purpose and the allocations for this TIF District. There was discussion regarding the status of the redevelopment and what percentage of the area was currently buildable. Mr.Mylott asked if there were any members of the public wishing to make comment. No members of the public were present. There was discussion regarding the use of the funds to improve the entryway from South Elgin to including signage and other improvements and a potential bridge improvement project on Route 31 by IDOT. Mr.Mylott asked if there were any members of the public wishing to make comment. No members of the public were present.
