RESOLUTION
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK COMMITTEE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,ILLINOIS,that
the following persons be and are hereby appointed as members of the Veterans Memorial Park
Committee:

Charles Krabbe (Veterans of Foreign Wars)

As you are aware, the Elgin City Council recently established a
Veterans Memorial Park Committee for the purpose of advising,
assisting and recommending policies to the City Council regarding
the design and construction of a Veterans Memorial Park.
On May 11, 2005, the City Council adopted the enclosed resolution
appointing you as a member of the Veterans Memorial Park
Committee.
A copy of Ordinance T21-05 passed April 27, 2005, is also
enclosed for your information. It sets forth some of the powers
and duties of the committee as well as composition of the
membership and meeting requirements .
The City Council and I appreciate your willingness to serve the
City of Elgin in this capacity.
