BACKGROUND Golf course chemicals were formally bid last year. Three bids were received and Council approved a contract with Simplot Partners, the lowest priced responsive bidder, at its April 25, 2001 meeting. While the Golf Division intended the term of the contract to be two years, the formal bid stated a term of one year. Simplot has indicated its willingness to extend its pricing for an additional year, at which point the golf course chemicals will be formally bid. GROUPS/INTERESTED PERSONS CONTACTED None .
