RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A COPS
UNIVERSAL HIRING SUPPLEMENTAL AWARD GRANT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Kevin Kelly, Mayor, be and is hereby authorized
and directed to accept and execute the COPS Universal Hiring
Supplemental Award Grant Number 95CCWX0235 on behalf of the
City of Elgin with the U.S . Department of Justice Office of
Community Oriented Policing Services for additional police
officers, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof by reference.
