RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A MODIFICATION AGREEMENT
(Fire Station #5)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN,
ILLINOIS, that Robert O. Malm, Interim City Manager, and
Dolonna Mecum, City Clerk, be and are hereby respectively
authorized and directed to execute a written modification
agreement with Elgin No. 5 Fire Barn Museum Inc. for the
premises commonly known as 533 St. Charles Street, Elgin,
Illinois, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof by reference.

MODIFICATION AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this —2zll
day of \ ,�n +� 1993, by and between the CITY OF
ELGIN, ILLINOIS, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred
to as "City" ) and ELGIN FIRE BARN NO. 5 MUSEUM, INC. , an
Illinois not-for-profit corporation of the State of Illinois
(hereinafter referred to as "Museum" ) .
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual
promises and covenants contained herein, and other good and
valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which
is hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto agree that the
terms of an agreement between the parties dated January 21,
1993, attached and incorporated hereto, shall be modified at
paragraph 9 to provide that renovation and occupancy shall be
completed on or before January 21, 1995 .
