To: Mayor and Members of City Council
From: Larry Rice, City Manager
Subject: Golf Professional Contract
PURPOSE:
To request the City Council's approval of the Golf
Professional's contract.
474 BACKGROUND:
For the past three years the Golf Professional has operated
with a one-year contract.
This contract for 1993 represents another one-year
extension of the current contract with the exception that the
Golf Course Superintendent would no longer report directly to
the Golf Professional, relative to the maintenance of the
courses, but rather to the Director of Parks and Recreation.
The Golf Professional would, however, remain responsible for the
other aspects of the division.
The per annum base rate is increased 5% from $40,000 to
$42,000.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The per annum base rate of $42,000 has been budgeted for
1993. .
