NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELGIN, ILLINOIS, that Larry L. BACKGROUND: When the Slade Avenue facility was being designed and equipment specifications drafted, the City was using a different phone system. This discrepancy was noted when the phones for the new facility were being ordered. To maintain consistency within the City, it is prudent to switch when the phones are installed. FINANCIAL IMPACT: The net cost to the Water Department for this substitution will be $1,803.26, including a credit of approximately $2,480.
