To: Mayor and Members of the City Council
From: Larry L. Rice, City Manager
Subject: 1993 Proposed Bluff City Cemetery Rates
PURPOSE
The Parks and Recreation Board requests City Council
approval of the proposed 1993 Cemetery rates.
BACKGROUND
Attached is a copy of the proposed fee schedule for 1993.
In order to maintain the grounds and the increased costs of
equipment and services, we recommend an increase in the fees
charged.
The increases the last two years along with the proposed
increase this year should put us in closer range with other
cemeteries. The attached rate chart reflects current charges
for services at other cemeteries and not next year's rates.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approximately $21,000 will be generated from the rate
increases.
RECOMMENDATION
The Parks and Recreation Board recommends City Council
approval of 'he` proposed 1993 Bluff City Cemetery rates.
